As a wedding planner I have had some brides who were lucky to have bridesmaid that were almost the exact same height,size, and especially shape. So the attire that was chosen by the bride compliment everyone. On the other hand I have had brides who were not so lucky with having maybe one bridesmaid who was 4"10 and another who was exactly 6"6 but yet put everyone from A-cup to DD-cup in the same dress. It cause a lot of stares,embrassment,and stress. I have pleaded and pleaded, do not get caught up in the fact of everyone looking the same, choose a color and manufacter, or designer, and let your girls pick a dress in the bride choice of color and with her discretion, the ones that she feel are to revealing, or to ugly you take those out the bunch. Thanks for the tip! I love this suggestion. I have been a bridesmaid a few times myself and I really never enjoyed any of the dresses that were chosen for me. I would have loved the freedom to choose a dress that fit my body type. I have already told my bridesmaid's my plan and they are really excited. I think they are all planning on going shopping together so that they can compare the exact colors of the dresses each of them prefer. So thanks again for the tip and I know my bridesmaids are grateful also!
